Honors Family Businesses
COLUMBUS, Ohio—The Family Business Center of Central Ohio
honored 10 family- owned businesses at its ninth annual Family Business of
the Year Awards luncheon, held on November 2 at Ohio Dominican University.
Mike Schoedinger, executive vice president of
Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, served as master of ceremonies
for the event, which recognizes outstanding family-owned businesses that
operate in central Ohio. This year the program honored 10 companies, three
of which were named 2007 Family Businesses of the Year.

our community.”
More than 100 nominations
were submitted this year. The honorees selected were family businesses that
have demonstrated a history of success, growth and innovation, exceptional
family dynamics and outstanding communication with employees. The award
