Conway Center Helps Family Business Stay Relative
"The Center's bread-and-butter is educational programs, peer groups and networking events. Programs and events are held regularly (at Ohio Dominican University) and the topics range from "Eradicating Entitlement in Your Family Business" and "Crisis Communications/Media Training" to the Center's annual tour of a family business where participants learn about the enterprise and share common experiences.
Program topics and events are useful to businesses in general, but they take on an added importance for families who face issues that touch more deeply on interpersonal relationships. Questions about succession, control and sibling rivalries are common because they can and do derail what earlier family generations created and built."
