Peer Groups

Peer groups are one of the most powerful and best learning forums offered by the Conway Center for Family Business.

These discussion groups, which include the Women in Family Business peer group, the Next Generation peer group and the Family Business Leaders peer groups, are comprised of members of the Conway Center for Family Business and complement the Center's Educational Program Series. The intimate gatherings of 6 - 12 participants meet regularly to discuss matters of business and personal interest.

Peer groups provide a confidential environment for idea exchange, family business education, and personal growth. They present an opportunity to learn by seeking advice from peers and professionals who have "been there, done that" and who are willing to share their experiences and knowledge.

The Women in Family Business Peer Group

provides a forum for women who own, work for, or play a supporting role in the successful operation of a Central Ohio family business.

The Next-Generation Peer Groups

encourage discussion among up-and-coming leaders of family-owned businesses. Ages 21-40, the members of this group are either in the process of assuming a greater leadership role in their family's company or they will have that opportunity in the future.

The Family Business Leaders Peer Groups

are for owners or leaders who want to develop closer bonds with other family business leaders for the purpose of sharing information that will help them build and grow their family business.
