Directors’ Insight: August
We had a fun summer of networking and relationship building events, and are now gearing up for our new educational season. We’ve made some changes based on your feedback and look forward to seeing you at a program soon.

  • A new educational opportunity, Emerging Leaders Development Program, is beginning this Fall: working as a non-family member in a family-owned business can be incredibly challenging.  It is often difficult to understand the dynamics and how to meet the expectations of multiple family members.  Through this program we will help non-family members improve their performance in a family organization.
  • Business Development is no longer being offered. Instead, a quarterly marketing peer group, Ignite your Business with Kelly Borth, is forming. Look for details soon!
  • Most of our quarterly peer groups will now run January- December. Dates for each group will be posted on the website when available.
If you’d like to join a Peer Group or the new Emerging Leaders program, please contact our Event Coordinator, Amy Dotts.
ADotts@FamilyBusinessCenter.com or 614-253-4820.
Our best,
Dick & Jill
