Too often, companies leave money on the table by neglecting to take advantage of beneficial federal, state, and local opportunities. Common business initiatives such as, expanding or relocating business facilities, increasing employment or training activities, or making routine (or non-routine) capital expenditures are just a few ways in which your company can profit.

Don’t miss out on your company’s rightful rewards – join Clark Schaefer Hackett as they lead an interactive discussion on tax credits and economic development incentives available to Ohio businesses.

This session is approved for 1.0 hour CPE; no other credits offered at this time.

What is Talent? Job Matching: Selecting Superior Performers
Tuesday, September 27, 2016
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
565 Metro Place South, Suite 180  Dublin, OH 43017

Have you ever hired someone whose best day on the job was the day they interviewed?  Have you ever wondered why?  If you were interviewing would you “puff” (think about it)?  How does your organization get through the “puff” in the selection and hiring process?

Businesses today are challenged to find better ways to secure the right talent for success.  But what talent does a job require for superior performance?  Only the JOB has the answer, so let the job talk and listen carefully.

 We will explore:
  • If the job could talk what would it reveal?
  • Impact of hiring mistakes.
  • BIAS – The #1 challenge in the selection process.
  • What three attributes are key to any job.
  • Can a strong brand carry a weak sales force?
  • IQ vs. EQ (emotional intelligence)
  • Why failure to use assessments as part of our hiring or screening process limits the ability to accurately select superior performers.
